Who We Are
YASER ALI: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Yaser Ali is the founder and executive director of Greater Arizona Inc. and the managing attorney of a boutique business, tax, and estate planning law firm in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to opening his own law firm in 2015, Yaser clerked for the Honorable Judge Damon J. Keith on the United States Court of Appeals and spent two years at one of Arizona's premier law firms, Osborn Maledon. Yaser holds a graduate degree in Education from Harvard University and a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a member of the California Law Review. Through his background as a corporate and tax planning attorney and a small business owner himself, Yaser is a uniquely suited to provide unparralled support to your corporate donors regarding the intracies of Arizona's corporate tax credit program -- something many school administrators and most STOs are not able to offer.
YUSUF SHAH MASUD: DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Yusuf Shah Masud is the director of development of Greater Arizona Inc. and also serves as the director of development of Arizona Cultural Academy & College Prep, the only K-12 Islamic school in Arizona. Prior to serving in these roles, he served as a high school social studies teacher at ACA and a community program coordinator at Zaytuna College in Berkeley, CA, the first Muslim liberal arts college in the US. Yusuf holds a degree in Islamic Law & Theology from Zaytuna College and a Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification in Secondary Education from the Arizona Department of Education with subject knowledge specialization in history & government. Yusuf also serves as the President of the Alumni Association of Zaytuna College and the director of media & publications for MOVE, a local Muslim non-profit that operates food pantries across the valley and youth empowerment services in addition to other humanitarian and volunteering activities.
